Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 6 13

Welcome to Pictorial Tuesday (link up below). I've had a few questions about what can be shared at Pictorial Tuesday so thought I would post some clarification as to my link up.

Whether you like to manipulate your photos to look like a scrapbook page, painting with software programs or you just love the way the photo looks straight out of the camera, Pictorial Tuesday would like to see your photography or digital graphic masterpieces. To me, all photos are master pieces. So each Tuesday, I'm hosting a linky party to share your photos and mine. :) I love photography and always have since a child. To me, it's a great way to capture and view things that might be missed with the naked eye, and also to preserve memories.

Freebie Alert:
If you like the action that I used for the photo above, you can find it here: Studio Zap as a free download at the bottom of that page. I love this action...so easy to use on any photo

My selection below for this week's Pictorial Tuesday is from a new fun procedure that I learned this week; scanning a flower so I'm sharing some of the flowers that I scanned this week. I learned about the procedure over at French Kiss Textures. If you subscribe to her newsletter, she shares some great tips as well as a monthly freebie. She fashioned a black box to lay over her scanner with lid open, and since I didn't have one or want to make one, I laid a piece of black material gently over the flower.

This one is a scan of my Lily

This is one of my Gerbera flowers that I scanned. I like how you can kind of see the reflection in the scanner glass.

There are just a couple rules on what photos you share:

  • Share your favorite photography, digital scrapbooking, or graphically manipulated photo
  • Keep your photographic sharing family friendly (no sexual innuendo photos or inappropriate comic type photos - no nudes of any type. I realize some find nudes very artistic, but would rather not have them shared here in case smaller little eyes might happen upon my blog).
  • I would ask that you would visit at least a few of the other's who have linked up their sites and make some new or visit some already virtual photographer friends.
  • Try to leave a comment for those you visit so they know you visited and they can then visit back.

You're welcome to share my button on your post, appreciated but doesn't have to be. Thank you.

Instructions: Select all (ctrl a) code above, copy it and paste it inside your blog post as HTML

So, you're next. Just click on the button below and link up to share your masterpieces.
